How to unlock the CR
Black Ops 6 players have tried to edit their loadouts to resemble the CR-56 AMAX assault rife, but Season 3 finally marks the return of the iconic Warzone weapon.
The CR-56 AMAX is widely regarded as one of the best ARs in Warzone history. The light and easy-to-use AR excelled in short to medium-range engagements. Recoil was extremely easy to control with CR-56 AMAX, and the time-to-kill speed was one of the best at the time among meta weapons.
Article continues after adFans have been begging for the weapon to be added back to Warzone, and that wish finally comes true in Season 3.
How to get CR-56 AMAX in Warzone & Black Ops 6
Activision To unlock the CR-56 AMAX, all you have to do is complete Page 6 of the Season 3 Battle Pass. It’s an HVT, so you’ll first have to earn enough tokens to unlock the rest of the rewards on that page before spending one final token to get your hands on the weapon.
Article continues after adThe good news is that it’s a free unlock, so you can still add it to your collection even if you don’t plan on buying the Battle Pass.
Article continues after adTreyarch briefly described the weapon: “This lightweight 7.62 x 39mm full-auto assault rifle is compact and powerful. Built exclusively for military use, the standard-issue rifle is deadly in mid-range combat and easily configured for various assault tactics.”
The devs also provided insight into how it will stack up against other meta weapons in Season 3.
“Combining high-damage hits with a fast fire rate and good handling, the CR-56 AMAX is the perfect mid-range weapon for downing targets fast. Eliminate enemies in three to four shots up to 25 meters out, leaving plenty left over to chew through equipped armor.”
